The primary objective of this workshop is to help each of us become more effective leaders in our organizations, communities, families, and personal lives. Whereas most of us are reasonably skilled as leaders, we can improve our success if we have in mind some principles, frameworks, and practices that elevate our abilities well beyond the common-sense level of performance. This is the goal of the workshop.
We will review some positive leadership practices that have emerged from work in Positive Organizational Scholarship, and highlight some principles and practices that are easily applied, easily remembered, and based on validated research. This research foundation ensures their legitimacy and credibility. The goal is to have us leave the workshop at least 1% better than when we entered.
Anyone who performs a leadership role. Individuals interested in improving personal effectiveness.
